ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION
Young WallStreet Traders is an education and mentorship program for trading and investing aimed at underrepresented youth in grades 9 -12. We were launched in order to tackle the Income Inequality and Wealth Gap problem that is overwhelmingly present in many urban cities.
We provide high school students with exposure, skills, and guidance (coaching) in investing and trading to strengthen their confidence, qualifications, and decision making about their financial future.
Our vision is a future where high school in urban cities are setting themselves up to thrive financially, by breaking out of their current economic level and moving to the next economic/income level.
We want to introduce professional trading and investing to a new generation of traders who will extend their expertise in financial literacy and become successful builders of their financial futures. We want to promote professional trading as a viable form of entrepreneurship and as a means of narrowing the increasing wealth-gap in inner cities. We want to expose students to an innovative STEM curriculum that integrates finance, engineering, and coding.
